The preparation of metallic samples is made nowadays using varied and different ways –
according to the hardness of the metal -. Many times, the preheating of the sample is
necessary in order to soften the metal and thus facilitate its subsequent processing,
whether by crushing or punching. The EQH- 3.0 Induction Heater has been specially
developed for heating up lollipops and bars for their fast softening.
The EQH-3.0 Induction Heater has got 5 predefined programs to cater for the requests of the routines in
the preparation of samples in steel factories and foundries. These programs can be modified
according to the type of sample and the needs of each client.
The EQH-3.0 simply requires an space of 50 x 50 cm. and a power source of 200 V, and it has got the
capacity to heat up a piece of metal to high temperatures in barely 30 seconds – as per the
chosen program -.
The operation of the unit is very simple. Once the desired program is selected, you must put the sample
to be heated inside the coil and push the «START» button. The heater will switch on – the lamp inside
unit 2 will indicate that the coil is heating -. When the established time is reached, the unit shall warn with a
high pitch sound that the power in the coil will decrease to a stop in order to allow for the sample to
be taken out. At that moment, the sample will be perfectly ready for processing – as a safety
measure, the lamp will continue on for 30 seconds or more -.
